Viren would later corrupt the core of Lux Aurea and Aaravos killed Khessa.Īmaya stopped Janai from killing Aaravos and Viren out of revenge, understanding her pain because of her losing her sister as well. When Amaya found out that Viren was in Lux Aurea, she begged Jania to stop him. When she was being interrogated, Viren went to Lux Aurea to convince Khessa to allow her to allow her army walk through Xadia and he would tell her what happened to her grandmother Aditi. After revealing that Amaya had a pure heart, Khessa allow Janai to keep her alive, calling Amaya her sister's "pet". He was then sent to Lux Aurea to be interrogated, but after Amaya provoked her, Jania sent her to her sister and queen Khessa, whom after Amaya spit on her, had her tortured by forcing her to look at sunlight to reveal her true nature. To make sure that the elves wouldn't pass the border, they decided to destroy it, but after Jania sabotaged it, Amaya decided to give her life to activate the explosives, although she managed to survived.Īmaya then saved Jania and was arrested by sunfire elves. While in the border between Xadia and the humans kingdoms, Amaya would fight against the elves who were attacking the border, and after a few weeks, she reunited with Gren after he was freed by Opeli's soldiers who also had Viren imprisoned for treason, which she wasn't suprised to have done. Viren would then kidnap and imprison Gren to make sure that Claudia and Soren would be the one to capture the princes. Later that day, she told her soldiers to not trust Viren because she believed he would betray them sooner or later, and told Gren to have good luck finding the princes before leaving. The next day, she would talk about how he lied about the princes deaths because it created an opportunity for him, she would then go to Sarai's statue that was made in her honor to pay her respects, and Viren met her there and payed his respects as well and then told her that he was going to put his children after the princes while Amaya would leave to protec the border, but she told him that her liutenant and language interpreter Gren to lead the rescue.
Amaya then stops Viren from crowning himself the king of Katolis and tols everyone that the princes were alive, since Viren lied that they were killed to usurp the throne.

Unfortunately, Sarai died during the mission because of Avizandum, and would later be made a statue in her honor, which Amaya would always go to honor her memory every time she could.Īmaya became the general of a group of soldiers that defended the border between Xadia and the Human Kingdoms, which is the main reason why she wasn't able to be with her brother-in-law Harrow when he was killed by Moon Shadow assassins.Īmaya is first seen going to the winter lodge where Ezran and Callum where because she was ordered by Harrow to protect them while they were in there before he was killed. One day, she helped Sarai in defeating a magma titan and retreaving its heart to save the kingdoms of Katolis and Duren, by giving boost to Sarai for her to deliver the finishing blow on the titan and personaly retreaving the heart. Amaya was born deaf, so she communicated through sign laguage. Sarai was born as the sister of Sarai, who, and according to Opeli, she trained the army of Catolis alongside Sarai and turned it into the most powerful and disciplined army in the human kingdoms.
