In the meantime, State of Decay 2 is discounted on all platforms until July 29th. It’s looking forward to “having more to share in the future” but at this point, it’s safe to assume that State of Decay 3 is still a few years out. Over on Twitter, the developer explained that the sequel was in “early pre-production.” We didn’t really see any gameplay but it did hint at what could be expected, from undead animals to snowy landscapes.

It is marked as an action, adventure, horror and venturous genre among all.Among the many new first-party titles announced for Xbox Series X was Undead Labs’ State of Decay 3. Developed by Undead Labs, the early release was done in the year 2013. It is published by Xbox Game Studios and designed by the legendary James Phinney and Richard Foge. The plot revolves in a fictional place called Trumbull Valley. Talking of the third edition, there isn’t much information out right now. About the release date, it is yet to be released by any of the makers. It has been said though that the game is under work in progress and will be out soon. Based on that fact, it might be somewhere in 2022 or 2023. The platforms that it will get released on are the ones by Xbox Game Studios. It comprises Xbox Series X, Series S, and PC.
The official teaser or trailer isn’t out yet but an announcement trailer of 1.38 minutes is out and fans cannot wait for more. The trailer represents a female survivor who is alone in a cold and dull place. She hears a weird sound coming from the forest and what follows is a completely thrilling set of scenarios. Talking of gameplay, there isn’t any kind of information related to it out right now but an assumption of it having an outlook like its earlier editions is being made by the fans and other industry members. Apart from that, some people are also assuming that it might be a multiplayer game like the second edition. The second edition was mainly a single player game but it offered choices to add more people, especially friends. It did have a bit of limitation in that too which might not be there in the third edition. Gaming industry is at its peak right now. The games having thrill and adventures top the list of categories and therefore a game like “State of Decay 3” is one of the most awaited games today. The reason behind it is not only the plot which is extremely chilling and engaging but also other features. The first and the second edition took the fans through a lot of emotions as well as fun and the third edition is also expected to be that. Other information like trailer, release date, teaser, gameplay, modes and all is not out yet but an announcement trailer presenting the assurance of it happening soon is out. This update comes packed with numerous features, including new story content for players to explore. Starting on September 1, 2021, the Homecoming update will bring back the first game’s original map. With a fully remastered overhaul compared to its initial counterpart, Homecoming throws in six new bases, fresh outfits, and some of the latest weapons to make their way into the apocalypse. With the multiple complements to State of Decay 2‘s gameplay, players were pitted against plague territories and Hearts. While this epidemic has severely hindered humankind’s progression, the folks at Trumbull Valley have held onto hope. They dare to take down the apocalypse, one zed at a time.
